Industry Liaison Executives
In January 2009 Cumbria Tourism employed two full time and one part time Industry Liaison Executives (ILE's) who's role is to liaise with Cumbria's tourism industry by visiting businesses and providing them with appropriate business support. They will be able to meet members and non-members of Cumbria Tourism to help them maximise the support and benefits offered from being a member.
The three ILE's will be out and about visiting businesses across the county and can be contacted from the details below. Each has a particular patch they cover so please contact the appropriate ILE for your area.more here
Joanne Regan
Joanne has worked for Cumbria Tourism in a number of roles over the past four years. She has worked in the hospitality and catering industry for the past 24 years, mainly through running her own businesses and training in colleges.
In her new role as Industry Liaison Executive, Joanne feels that with her knowledge of Cumbria Tourism and her experience within the industry, she can offer help and advice to ensure businesses have the information they require to promote their business in the best possible way. Joanne will be covering the South of the county.

John Tiscornia
In 2006 after 37 years in Hospitality John retired from hotel keeping taking up a part-time role in Demels, manufacturers of Award Winning Sri Lankan Chutneys Pickles & Curry Powders.
As a past Commercial Members' Chairman his knowledge of Tourism in Cumbria will contribute greatly to the teams work. John will be working part-time and will cover South Lakes and Furness area.

Raymond Chandler
Raymond comes from a hospitality and tourism background and has been involved for 40 years in this industry and 30 of those in Cumbria.
He has been responsible for the successful operations and developments of Country House hotels from St Ives in Cornwall to the Highlands of Scotland. Raymond will be covering the North of the County.
