Holiday Guide
The Lake District, Cumbria Holiday Guide is the most comprehensive tourism brochure in the county. It features inspiring editorial and listings for around 400 accommodation providers, attractions and service providers.

Attractions Guide
The Cumbria Tourism Attractions leaflet showcases over 68 attractions and things to do in Cumbria and the Lake District. The leaflet is used outside of the county as a fulfilment piece to support the national media campaign and as a ‘Days out' Leaflet for those already in county.
A total of 375,000 copies are produced, 27,000 of which are produced in five foreign languages - Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish. Distribution channels include tourist information centres and information points in Cumbria, Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Yorkshire and the North East; retail sites, petrol stations, airports (Liverpool John Lennon, Newcastle, Blackpool, Manchester); ferry terminals; 8 motorway service stations; key shows such as the Great Days out Fair and accommodation providers. In addition, the leaflet is supported by a variety of CT marketing activity. In 2012 there will be a distribution in London for key events.

Culture continues as one of the three key themes for Cumbria Tourism's core marketing and an Arts, Galleries and Guide Culture Guide is produced as part of its overall marketing strategy.

Events are a great way to encourage people to visit the Lake District and Cumbria.
Online events listing: Advertise your event free of charge!
Cumbria Tourism offer free listings to organisers staging events and festivals in Cumbria on www.golakes.co.uk. Simply provide us with the required database form and get your event listed on Golakes to reach a potential 4.3 million users!
