Marketing Cumbria - The Lake District

Cumbria Tourism marketing department comprises three teams of tourism professionals: PR, Marketing and E-Tourism. Together we offer a wide range of innovative and effective marketing opportunities that are available to all Cumbria Tourism members.

These marketing activities combine to form an integrated multi-media campaign for Cumbria - The Lake District, worth £1.6m. We target potential visitors via a sophisticated targeted media campaign that has been continuously developed and refined to ensure that we achieve the highest response rates and Return on Investment as possible. In 2008, our printed version of the 2007 Holiday Guide alone will reach 250k targeted households - previous campaigns have shown that 32% result in an accommodation booking, in addition to those who use the guide to inform them for their day visit to the county. 

Our campaigns are grouped under three main titles,
domestic marketinginternational marketing and B2B marketing.
