Cumbria County Council is appointing 24 Highway Stewards across the county to sort out minor highways issues that have been reported to a new Highways hotline.  The new service includes cleaning and repairing road signs, emergency pothole repairs and a range of other routine maintenance jobs.   Members can report any problems by calling the hotline number 0845 609 6609 or by emailing contact@cumbriahighways.co.uk.  Further details can be found in the attached leaflet.
