Northwest Award Winners 2010

Cumbria businesses proved they were the best in the Northwest by winning five award categories at the Northwest Tourism Awards in September 2010. The five winning businesses were:-Woodclose Caravan Park - Holiday Park of the Year, The Cottage in the Wood - Taste of England's Northwest, Number 43 - Guest Accommodation of the Year, Overwater Hall - Small Hotel of the Year, Cumbrian Heavy Horses - Tourism Experience of the Year.

Highly commended certificates were also awarded to Skelwith Fold for Holiday Park of the Year and Appleby TIC for Visitor Information. 2010 was the last year of the Northwest Awards - future winners of the Cumbria Tourism Awards will go straight through to the Enjoy England National Awards.
