Directions to Cumbria Tourism offices, Staveley (LA8 9PL)

By Car (from the South)

Leave the M6 at junction 36 and follow the A591 past Kendal in the direction of Windermere. Take the second of the turnings on the right signposted to Staveley (onto Windermere Road). Follow the road for ½ mile into the village and Cumbria Tourism is on the right (next door to Peter Hall and Son). Visitor parking is available at the front of the building, with extra parking to the rear of the building if needed.

By Car (from the North)

Follow the A591 past Windermere, after 4 miles you will come to Staveley, take the first junction on your left hand side and follow the road into the village. Cumbria Tourism is on the right hand side about 500 yards from the junction.

By Train

The West Coast Main Line serves Oxenholme station, near Kendal. From here,connections can be made to Staveley station. From Staveley station it is a 10 minute walk to the Cumbria Tourism offices. Street level map

By Bus

The regular 555 Stagecoach service from Lancaster to Carlisle calls at Windermere Road (no. 12 and no.20) in Staveley, from which Cumbria Tourism's offices are within a short walking distance. For timetable information contact Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 or go to Traveline
